Knowing Dolly she didn't want to make a scene by insisting they piss off but if someone comes right out and says "Don't put me in your Hall of Fame" maybe don't put them in.
The Halls argument was the ballots had already been sent out so they had to count her votes but I think they could have just not counted any votes for Parton. It wouldn't have been the end of the world and its not like Dolly Freakin' Parton hasn't been recognized for her many contributions to music already.

I watched a youtube video of a guy who was touring it recently. The first 15 minutes of his video touring the facility was about race. Nothing at all about the hall of fame.
