My buddy in the Guard went to Djbouti for 9 months and got to spend some time in Doha.
He's actually been in Korea at some place called Camp Hovey since the spring. Sure does deploy a lot for a Guardsman (armor officer in Florida). I give him shite over his stupid arse spurs and cowboy hat.
Edit: He's wearing 3rd ID patches on his cammies and they deployed for 9 months to Korea in February.
Edit: This is the patch he wore in Djbouti in 2016. Do you know what unit it's for?

He got his grad degree from FSU and then went through Ft Jackson for BCT. Then he did some weird version of OCS that was stretched out over 18 months and lucked out and got armor.
