That shite was fricking crazy. Wondered if Rick would get out of it, but did NOT see him going walker on that dude

I'll say that I think it's a major advantage to watching this show on Netflix or some sketchy streaming website that's probably illegal. I started like 3 weeks ago on the first episode and I'm all caught up now. It's far easier to just go to the next episode on the web if an episode is unfulfilling or lacking than waiting another week. Tonight was a pretty big letdown.

Well, I guess I'm in the camp that prefers and appreciates ancillary storylines to give the show some variety. Guess this is more a matter of what you prefer in your TV shows
I appreciate good TV shows, but the Walking Dead is different. It seems like they spend way too much time doing it. This isn't a black or white type "I like ancillary story arcs" type thing, it's a "half this season was spent developing the Governor to come tear shite up, and the other half was developing characters after the Governor tore shite up."
It seems like overkill.
TBH, if they'd have actually did something with Terminus this episode and we knew what next season's conflict was going to be instead of just waiting until October to see if they get out of a box car, I'd probably be okay. It's just crawling along.

I liked the earlier episodes better but these seem alot more deeper then before. I agree with that some of these episodes just crawl along it seems like there just fillers.

One thing I didn't like about tonight was we still have no idea where Beth is.

I think that's an oversimplification, but like I said, different strokes

So, you don't like this particular cliffhanger, I guess?

I may not have been the best fan in the world, but TWD was one of my favorites, this season just did me in.
It's just weird that these internet TWD fans think tonight was great and this season was amazing. I don't get it. I don't need zombie gore or exciting fights every episode, hell...I don't need them at all. I do need something to happen. I just feel like they're trying to get me to like characters that I already like for no other purpose than to kill a few of them off shortly.
Get the viewer to like, then get them to care, then kill the character. Repeat.

Like I said, nothing has happened since Beth disappeared.
I guess we knew Terminus is real, but we have no more clue what is it now than we did when we were seeing posters on the railroad crossings.

That's what I'm trying to tell you

shite DID happen, just not what you preferred.
And that's ok.

This I agree with. You could have Sasha and Bob give birth to a litter of young uns and I'll still cheer their gory death. I'm not going to start caring about the angsty lesbian either. No matter how many wide-eyes, tear-welling shots of her we get.

I guess I don't see it as a cliffhanger at all. I don't need a cliffhanger to be happy, I guess I just don't get the satisfaction of watching character development for a season and catch myself having an issue waiting for more.
Not to bring up another show, but I will. Breaking Bad. After all the character development we've gone through I still feel like I know more about minor character arse Ted Beneke than I do about Michonne, and she's one of my favorites.

Well, they're being held in a meat locker by what appear to be well-organized cannibals....

Fair enough. I enjoyed the character development immensely this season.

Well, Michonne's character has been an aloof enigma by design thus far.

I feel like this entire season is basically like reading stories about people and being forced to stop reading after the first three chapters of each story. Sure some decent entertainment got in there, but there was no actually plot development, no conflict, no resolution, nothing.

There was never going to be. More problems will be introduced to drive the plot.

To me im intrigued by the whole terminus site though as in how the gonna escape, get even etc.
Them seems to be a well organized outfit maybe not as much firepower that the.governor had but smarter

Okay, so we're seeing things on two different levels here.
I want to try to understand. What has developed plot-wise that makes you think we're in any different place than we were four episodes ago?
I understand that there will never be full resolution, but there wasn't even partial resolution.
Rick's back in bad arse mode and most of the crew is back together, awesome. What else is there?

I love the whole Terminus thing. I'm interested to see how they get out of the situation. I don't see what they need to get even for other than being put in a box when they pulled guns, but okay.
They're smart, and they appear to have something going on that's not on the up and up, but I'd like to have known what it was before the end of the season.
Like I said before, I think I'm just disappointed in the finale. I don't need full excitement all the time, I like character development, but I want some payoff after a whole season of story arcs and development.
If they wound up eating Beth in the final scene of the season and Rick looked up with some anger I'd be a lot happier because at least I'd know everything we'd be working towards was going to turn into something.
Maybe it is just preference.
