Not really. Engineers and Nurses/Doctors are always in demand and are sure fire jobs. IT used to be but it is getting so saturated as well that its not a sure bet anymore either.

Don't know that grad school is worth it yet. I should have done a trade. It should be noted that I had to take my military experience off my resume to get an interview when I moved here.
