Agreed. It's a start. Both parties needed to quit accepting that the black vote is a foregone conclusion. Dems ignore the demographic because they assume they've got the votes anyways, and Republicans ignored the demographic because they assumes there'd be no hope of reception.
Something has to change both without and within the voting bloc.

What Trump did in Flint and Detroit may end up morphing into a game changer. It was something I've never seen a republican candidate do in my lifetime.

The liberal response is just insufferable. You ignore people's needs because they aren't the group the left cares about. Call them racist. Then act horrified when someone speaks to their struggle and vote for him.
It's the time for conversation, but we can't have that. They're angry many people don't think the right things, and instead of engaging in the ideas they double down on dismissiveness and throw a tantrum.

Nope, I didn't. My family wasn't exactly ecstatic that he won but we weren't fearing for our lives or anything of that sort. Liberals are way overblowning this. And you do realize that there were minorities that voted for Trump right?

Pretty much. And you can't have a conversation with anyone throwing a tempter tantrum. That's the irony in folks demanding that one side reach out to them. Nothing is going to happen or change when one group is unwilling to even take a seat at the table. Tech has allowed too many to bypass the natural order of Darwinism. There seriously needs to be a purging of the weak and those that are unwilling to contribute.
