I'm testing a new strategy: When they fly in and take over my back porch, I get out my leaf blower and blow the frick out of them for several minutes, while swatting them while they're tired from flying away from the leaf blower - results have been moderate so far

Simple Lysol disinfectant spray sitting on your back porch table ready to fight them back? Flies HATE IT and some of them DIE!

Get you a Salt Gun and turn it into a sport. The gun is very cool and shoots a blast of table salt that knock the crap out of the fly.

bad neighbors just as you describe sold out - thank God - and construction just finished on new homes next door, so I think it's going to all dissipate. As is right now, the dirt they brought in for finishing the new yards next door was poor quality and stunk for a few days. Cheap contractors. It will wash down
but seriously, in the meantime, the Lysol spray is the bomb. If they don't die they at least leave and fricking stay gone. They hate that blast of spray
