I was pretty anti Applebees because I thought the food was poor a few years ago.
Moved about 20 miles away and the new city has an applebees, and it's pretty good actually. Not sure if it's a corporate wide thing or just the local franchisee, but it's fairly decent now.

frick you. That commercial is awful and is threatening my ability to enjoy college football. If you know anyone who goes to Applebee's for date night, just go ahead and kill them, you'd be doing them a favor.

True story, took my wife on our first date to an Applebee’s. We go yearly to celebrate that day. Every year I’m reminded when we leave why we only go once a year. Haha
