I had sleep paralysis last night

Anybody ever experienced this?
I can recall 3 moments in my life of it happening, and two of those times were this year.
I was sleeping on my back. I woke up and I couldn't move. My mind was working, but my body wouldn't work. I tried to roll over, but couldn't. I couldn't speak. It lasted for about a minute. I also had a sense of something evil in the room too. Kind of scary.

It's not sleep paralysis, it was an evil spirit. I've been attacked twice, both in the same old house. It is like the spirit is sucking the life out of you/. The second I was about two seconds from losing myself to the spirit. My dog sensed my distress and came in and saved me though.
- I could move my eyes and could see he spirit just beyond the foot of the bed

dafuq? The house I normally sleeps in was built in the 1800s, but dis house last night was 2012.

I'm serious, I have only experienced it in this house that house that has been in our family for a long time. The room I used to sleep in had the old big closet in it that always freaked me out when I was little. I think that is where she comes out of. I sleep on the couch every time now.

It happens to me a couple times a month but has nothing to do with any type of evil spirit. It's just that your whole body is asleep while your mind is actually not

Happens a lot to me but I've learned to talk my self out of it in my mind and not panic like I used to.

It happens to me occasionally. Most of the time I think it's pretty cool and just let myself drift back off to sleep, but there are a few times like you had where you're like "ok this was fun, but time to break it now and move an arm. Oh shite I can't move an arm. Oh frick I can't move anything shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii oh ok there we go".

Ummmm no, it's not an evil spirit, it's a legit physical reaction to being overtired. Your mind partially wakes up but you're in such a deep sleep it takes longer to fully wake up your physical abilities. I've had it happen probably a dozen times in my life. It's scary but once you realize what it is, you just let it ride.

shite sucks. Really does feel like something is trying to pull you down and almost suck the life out of you. Had it most times in my life this year, probably 5-6. Only can recall once or twice before.

I am not sure if serious but I have experienced something like this once in my life as well. It was in a house that me and my room mate both saw a flying sort of white orb go from one side of the room through the other and disappear into a wall. I would not have trusted my eyes had my room mate not been there. One night I woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn't move in my my mind I was trying to push my body around but my body wouldn't respond and I started sort of freaking out. I went to scream but nothing came out...that's when I felt pressure on my lips and I heard a voice that said "shh, shh...everything will be alright." And that was it. The voice was not warm but also non threatening...very neutral. Still freaked me out though.

I've never had it but I'm a very light sleeper. Sounds creepy as hell though.
