Just the name alone says he is an A-hole.

Wish A&M guys the best. This flooding is predicted to be very very bad.

Yes indeed, forgot about Louisiana and especially since these damn things are so unpredictable.

Louisiana has yet to recover from the flooding a year ago, especially Denham Springs. I hope and pray its not a repeat. shite like that makes me not worry so much about a football game. A lot of people lost everything.

Thanks, MB, Errerrerrwere.
I'm afraid after tomorrow, many of us will be off the grid for a time.
Well-wishes and prayers sure are great!

Good luck to all my Houston and gulf coast baws, this is gonna be bad. They're saying the rainfall totals could be double the amount that basically shut the city down last June.

It crazy that the storm is going to come on land and just sit there all weekend. Good luck to everyone

Latest reports now say 37 inches possible. That is fcking insane. That kind of flooding would be as bad if not worse than a stronger hurricane moving fast. God bless you all.

The worst case scenario is playing out. It's stalling out while gaining strength and looking like it's gonna ride the coastline all weekend. Basically will keep the entire Texas coast east of Corpus under hurricane conditions for 3+ days. The flooding will be as far north as Austin.

I said on another thread several so called experts said this reminds them of hurricane camille in the potential model. The last thing you want is a slow moving hurricane that is stalling. Unreal.

Our gulf coast folks are going to get just wrecked and a bunch of houses in Houston are going to get water in them, again. Houston drains after a day or so, but there's going to be a lot of home flood repairs needed and that sucks hugely. The whole coast scrape this thing's set to do is going to leave a loooooong stretch of the coast without beach houses, bars, piers, marinas, bait shops, or restaurants. It's a shitty state of affairs. Growing up in Houston and living there for multiple decades I used to get excited about hurricanes - I was much younger and even less mature. Nowadays I just feel really, really bad for the huge dump they take on so many people's lives.

I agree and whats more, initially they predicted this to be more minor than what it's growing into. Nobody can predict the weather let alone what this thing might do. It's already thrown a lot of "experts" into the "Wow, this thing has a mind of it's own" mentality.

I'm in Austin and they are forecasting heavy rains and winds all the way up here, but nothing like it will be south of me.

I went to Corpus a couple of years ago and there is a lot of low lying land going north.

I am worried that there could be a high loss of life from the flooding from here down to the coast.

People need to be on the road and getting the hell out of the area like now.

To put this amount of rain into perspective - if this were falling as snow, it would have the potential to literally bury a three story house.

If the higher end predictions are accurate, this is a catastrophic storm. Storm surges of up to 12' are possible before even factoring the potential for 30" of rain or more, and the fact that this thing is going to come to a stand still over land, and this thing is totally unprecedented.

I was living in Champions when Hurricane Alicia rolled through Houston. That was awful but Harvey sounds much worse. Good luck to everyone in its path.

The rain predictions for this thing are insane.
