shite, I wish I only had that many car payments. Only 72 more payments before my 1994 Buick LaSabre is officially mine

Damn guys ... with the car payments. Don't do that. Buy used, pay it off ASAP. Take care of it. Drive it until the wheels fall off.

Save your money.

NO LINES

my wife and the other 3 teachers on her team all threw in $20 - she was supposed to drive to GA and buy the tix - she asked me if I would watch the kids & I said "OK"

Saturday morning she wakes me up and asks, "Will you go with me?"

So, we loaded the kids up and jumped on I 20 west

When we got to exit 5 in GA (Tallapoosa, the 1st GA exit); I turned left and drove 5 miles - crossed the railroad tracks and went to a quit little Shell station (we were on HWY 78) - after she bought the tix, I jumped on 78 West and after about 5 miles back into Alabama, turned left and jumped back on I 20 west - avoiding the worst construction on I 20 right by the GA border

FWIW - there were lines out the doors at both gas stations right off the interstate

I don't do long lines, fortunately, there weren't any just a few miles off the interstate, but I would have driven 20 or 30 more miles to avoid the lines if we had to...

I keep seeing and hearing his name ... gonna have to check him out one of these days.

Building wealth is just taking a common sense approach to your finances.

Live below your means.

Don't be wasteful.

Don't try to keep up with the Jones ... they're going bankrupt.

Invest wisely. .. especially in real estate, but diversify.

Pay off cars and credit cards and then shred the credit cards.

The system is rigged ... so you have to learn to beat the system.

Most of all, work hard ... it'll payoff. And if at all possible, when the time is right, be your own boss. That's the only way you'll ever be in control of your own fortune.

You pretty much just summed up his philosophy

He is on the radio on every city in SC, give him a listen next time you get a chance, go to Daveramsey.com and enter your zip code, he is usually on from 1 to 4 eastern

You will love it, if anyone asks you for help or advice and it is someone you care about, pay the $110 and send them through Financial Peace University

It's a guaranteed way to get rich...

7 steps

Will list them when I am on a regular computer
