The moment you say white privilege it becomes a problem. There are whites who benefit from privilege, and whites who don't.

Calling it white privilege is lumping together an entire race, ascribing a feature to them based on their skin color.

What? I just actually went all the way back through my timeline to pre 2012 election and I didn't find one status containing the n word. I do remember having a meltdown about Obama winning and how the gays, lazy people, etc are ruining the country but I didn't use any racial slurs.

I'm not even sure if I even know you much less are friends on Facebook. You might have me confused for someone else...way to come on here and ruin what was a legit and constructive conversation though.

I'm not gonna sit on my high horse and act like I've never said anything racist in my life....i'd say 95% of the people in MS that I know have said racist shite in their lifetime...I'd bet money many on this board do too even though they won't admit it.

But I don't constantly put things on FB calling the President the n word. The last status I had with Obama's name even in it was in November of 2012 unless there was something I posted while drunk and later deleted but I don't recall anything. I am known for drunken rants on social media I've even been banned on here for drunken rants before

In all honesty though I don't care what some anonymous internet people think of me. I don't know any of y'all personally and everyone that does know me doesn't seem to have a problem with me I get along with everyone and that includes black people.

That being said, I'd rather not get into a pissing match and just stick to the discussion at hand. It's been a very constructive conversation imo and mud slinging isn't going to accomplish anything.
