It's more just the quota system to have X amount of minorities in leadership positions.

This is closer to synthesis. In some cases, it's better to be white, in others it's not.
Best not to judge a person on their skin color and tell them whether or not they've lived a privileged life or not.

Last thought: the reason "white privilege" is offensive to a lot of whites is the same reason claiming affirmative action is responsible (in part) for a black guy getting hired or into school.
No one wants their accomplishments put down for some percieved "inherent advantage". Seems simple enough to understand.

My thing is that I haven't experienced any of the actual benefits of white privilege that I can think of, so I generally get pretty frustrated by the premise that something needs to be changed because it's so much easier for me as a white dude.

I'll let you know when I benefit. If anything it's based on income.
I lived in a pretty white neighborhood, but middle/lower middle class. I got bused to the inner city for sixth grade so the minorities in the inner city could come to the "better" schools. Same thing happened in high school. My school was "racially diverse" 30% white, 30% latino, 30% black 10% other. The money for accelerated classes was reapportioned to ESL classes and remedial classes.
No benefit there.
I'm sitting in my business now. The reason we're getting the business we are from the places we are is because my fiance/partner is a Puerto Rican Woman. Her family has significantly more money that mine ever did, but she's the underprivileged based on regulation. Her dad is an engineer. My dad was the only white dude in a factory of latinos. I work in the business, I created this business, I do everything for this business. I had to give 51% ownership to her to be a disadvantaged business to have a chance against these other businesses. Sorry I'm a white dude, I'll put myself in a position to lose control my business since I'm so privileged as a white dude.
Like I said, I'll let you know when I get some benefit.
