Then you should feel relieved that you found out early that she wasn't the one. Go out and have a good time.

Honestly about six months ago I broke up with the girl I thought I was going to marry

We had been together two and a half years

I probably went about it the wrong way but it worked:

First I called her the c-word

Then I went out and fricked a girl

Drank a ton of scotch

Was over it surprisingly quickly

Realized us breaking up was one of the best things ever bc I had so much freedom...this was now long distance and she was really jealous and once I could go out without blowing up my phone it was amazing

Makes me never even want a girlfriend again looking back at it...bachelor for life

This 100%. I got heartbroken after being with her from 2 years. It sucked for a while but you will move on.

I was with my ex for 5 years before we got to the point that it was clear our lives weren't moving forward in the same direction. And even doing the breaking up, it wasn't easy. I don't regret anything but I wish I had known sooner.

I dated this girl for about 7 months. She ended up breaking up with me bc she didn't want a relationship anymore. I was pretty wrecked about it for a month or two.

Now a year+ later I'm so happy she did. She's gained 70lbs and flunked out of school. Doesn't have to worry about being in a relationship anymore

Where is she from? Long distance is hard but it's worth it if you can make it work.

Is this the first girl you've really taken to since the ex? May want to tread carefully there too.

My husband and I knew we would be getting married within a week of dating each other. 4 months later we were engaged. 10 years and 2 girls later, we are still going strong.

If you love something, let it go. If it comes back, it's yours forever. If it doesn't, hunt it down and kill it.

Going through the same thing right now. Not gonna lie. I'm struggling. It's hard because I've always been such a positive upbeat guy. Never been one to stay down or get upset. This has hit me hard.

She was my best friend. More so than any guy or anybody has been for me. She knew more about me and I knew more about her than anyone. It sucks because the only person I feel like I could talk to and feel better is her. Not girlfriend her. But best friend her.

It'll work out though. Just gotta stay busy. And keep your head on other things.
