Have yall started decorating for christmas?

So I woke up and went for my morning jog and saw my neighbor replacing his plastic Dracula with a plastic baby jesus. I was appalled. I have not started decorating for christmas as Thanksgiving is a very important Holiday in my family. What about yall?

Yep. Wife started this past weekend since we'll be out of town the week of Thanksgiving. She wants it decorated when we get home that Sunday, so we'll finish everything except the tree this weekend, then go buy the tree when we get back from Thanksgiving.

No. It's bad luck to put your tree up before Thanksgiving, and you must take it down before New Years Day.
Mine probably won't go up till the first weekend in December.

This car in my apartment has had those stupid reindeer antlers on top its roof for over 2 weeks now. At first glance I thought it was a Halloween thing, but NOPE! Antlers.

Went over to my moms and there was a giant mickey mouse blow up thing at the top of the stairs holding a merry christmas sign. I just shook my head

We have indeed. We are leaving next Friday for my sister-in-law's wedding and will be gone until after Thanksgiving so my wife wanted to go ahead and get at least our tree up and decorated. So I got home Monday from work and pulled all her stuff out of the attic and helped her put all that up and on that night.
Now comes the fun part of decorating the rest of the house. I'm trying to figure out if I want to put lights up outside. If so then I have to get some wire and stuff from work and run some plugs on the front of the house. There is only one plug on the front side of the house and it's in the garage (house was built in '79 so it's not a new one). I need some plugs on the front anyways so I'm going to put one hidden in each flower bed.

No. The only thing it's acceptable to put up before Thanksgiving is lights on the outside of the house. And those must be off by mid-January. No leaving that shite up all year round.
