Hattiesburg got turned upside down last night...... 2 cops killed

Terrible tragedy. Keep the officers and their families in your prayers.

I don't pretend to like cops but some of them have a dangerous job (doesn't give them the right to do some of the shite they do) but the old school dudes I used to run with always preached that you don't go after someone's family and you don't kill cops. All these want to be bad asses make it hard on a honest criminal, glad I'm out of the life.

More than two lives ended that night. Criminals like those 3 don't seem to realize until well after the fact that they're committing suicide as well as murder. Oh well, I suppose that's why they're criminals in the first place.

The main culprit is a total lack of criminals today having 2 parents. When you have no example of how to be a man, even a "gangster" example, you never learn restraint.

Fathers are the single largest determining factor in whether a boy grows up into a man, or whether he grows up into a larger boy.

In a similar vein, my uncle was a longtime judge in a small Southern town. Whenever a mother would plead with him that her son wasn't *really* a violent criminal, and was just a "young, dumb kid," my uncle would routinely respond with, "the prisons are full of young, dumb kids."
