Worked at a paint shop recently where we make/sell automotive paint. You would be amazed at the customers they say "i want white paint"

There's like 200 variations of white paint

I can relate to that somewhat. I'm in parts (amongst other things at work) and people will call and say "how much is the normal one that is used?" And I'm thinking that I don't even know what your issue is, I can't see your problem and I'm not a technician. The normal one.

Truth.

About 10 years ago I had a 75 gallon fish tank spring a leak in one of the seams about 10 inches from the top. Came home and it was just squirting a stream of water across the living room.

I ducked taped the shite out of that corner and the thing held water for 3 months until I replaced it. I think it probably would have held longer than the other seams.

After working as a delivery driver in the body/paint business.

I am amazed about the common sense of people.

Is this another way of saying you're a NASCAR driver?

While I know several nascar drivers. No.

We had one shop that had 3 paint booths with one painter.

One of the booths was used as storage

I definitely subscribe to adage of:

“If it moves, and it ain’t supposed to move…use Duct Tape

…and if its supposed to move, and it ain’t mov’in…use a Hammer
