bro it's almost ironic you posted that

we're going to be close to dragging a ton of stuff out of a house and selling it all for a dollar apiece, like, "come get this perfectly good bed for one dollar!" type stuff

"can't have the pasta jars! But come get this entire living room set for a total of 7 dollars!"

That's about what my truck looked like the last time I moved.

I hear ‘ya, man.

Sometimes you gotta be resourceful and get creative with your ratchet-straps.

If you look at the outline of the cargo. It’s almost exactly that of a Uhaul cab over.

Harry’s done this shite before.

Those are Fords.

Seriously, most of that cargo looks to be chinese furniture made of thin laminated wood-like product. Bulky but not very heavy.

Makes sense, my furniture is family stuff from 100's of years ago. You don't move much as you need an army to lift it. Drop just a bedroom set of that stuff and the back bumper would be MUCH lower!

Coincidentally saw (or maybe heard on a podcast) something about this the other day.

Apparently a lot of furniture manufacturers have outsourced overseas as noted, and thus the IKEA modular, thin, lightweight approach is preferred because it's easier and cheaper to cram those boxes onto cargo ships.

Makes sense I guess, and explains why most new "furniture" is absolute garbage these days.

I'll pay each of you $20 to come take away little decor statues of birds and chickens and ceramic "people" hoeing gardens - and coffee cups -

whoever takes the most away gets a free Thomas Kincade collectors showcase coffee table book

#1 my stuff was free

#2 my stuff can probably survive most wars and natural disasters

#3 IKEA is VERY pricy and can not survive a single move

My front door is old and solid, if I replaced it with a new one, it just would not last.

Why don’t I just bring a bottle of bourbon (or 3) and an AR and we’ll make garden gnome dust from your back porch?

Are they "Yardbirds" by chance?

I think that was an ag student grad from UK in the 80's maybe? They were small batch and insanely popular at the time. They may be worth something today.
