Love both so it would just depend on my mood at the time of the decision. Right now, I'd lean grits, especially cheese grits.

I'm a lifelong Southerner and I prefer hashbrowns. The choices at Waffle House and The Cracker Barrel are either grits or hashbrowns and I always get hashbrowns.

Really good grits are bad arse. Unfortunately i have only had them a handful of times. Luckily a chef friend has provided me with a great recipe.
