The water though is usually much clearer and cleaner than Enid, and especially Sardis.

You don't know what you're talking about bud. Enid is by far the cleanest, then Sardis after that, then Grenada, and Arkabutla is by far the muddiest.

Well I may have a job offer coming to me from out of there. I already know the pay would be 50% more than I'm already making so I wanted to see if there was much to the area because I couldn't find much online about it.

But yes, I live about 20-30 minutes west of Tuscaloosa.

The Tiki Bar. Stay the frick away.

There's an old 50s style burger and ice cream joint there that is top notch.
Spencer's is pretty meh

There is nothing in Grenada besides the lake, and you're right - the crappie fishing is apparently some of the best around. Dogwoods is a nice golf course if you like to tee it up every now and then. All in all, the place is a shithole. Luckily I only have to make the occasional trip back. Don't take a job in Grenada. Hell, don't even drive through it

Still not worth it especially if you're on the outskirts of Tuscaloosa

Worked in the area for years, great place. Good fishing and great golf coarses. Memphis is an hour away.

If you wanna divorce your wife and make sure the bitch gets the goddamn message, there's a taco bell there you can toss her car keys on top of.

There's a lake with a beach that's fun in the summer. Lot of people go there to ski/drink/play beach volleyball.

If you're young and single there's a couple good bars..Partners and Tiki Bar.

Handful of good restaurants. Pretty friendly people

Thunder on Water is a fun event every June..also great people watching as the hillbillies come out of the woodwork for that festival.

It's not a terrible town, but it isn't great either. It has it's good qualities..I'd advise going to visit there and see for yourself

Well luckily I haven't been married. So close once, but very glad I came to my senses.

Thanks delta. I'll certainly have a look around if I get a second call back.

About the only gambling I would do is poker. Everything else doesn't do anything for me.

Come with me I'll teach you how to count cards at the Trop in Greenville. Blackjack is where it's at

You've obviously never played craps before.

Oh I know how to do high low counting, but that gets really boring to me.

I like most poker games due to the math involved, like Omaha. Though I figure Holdem is what will be offered if I went.

I went to the Indian casino in Philly a couple years ago and it felt like a wasted trip.
