I have been awake since sometime late yesterday morning.

There have been many times this semester that I've been awake for close to 48 hours and I'll be running on adderall and caffeine but I hate that feeling my body gets when I've been awake for too long.

There is also nothing worse than when I am tired and want to go to sleep but can't because of the meds so I just lay in bed and try to sleep but cant.

I don't normally drink coffee, but when I had that tough exam schedule last spring I drank A LOT. When I finally was going to bed, I couldn't sleep a wink. It didn't help that my girlfriend at the time was SUPER drunk and I had to go pick her up at Innisfree. She then passed out in my bed, but would not stay asleep. She was like drunken sleep walking. Tried to pee somewhere that was not the toilet. Thank goodness I stopped her or it would have been hard to let that go.

I caught one of my old roommates trying to piss in my closet one night. Directed him to his own bathroom and he still managed to piss on the floor in the kitchen

I've come to the point where if I don't have coffee in the morning, it feels like when I don't take my focalin. I need to do both by at least 8:00 or I feel terrible all day

I hoisted her over my shoulder and was just pleading "Don't pee. Don't pee. Please don't pee." Put her in the bathroom and shut the door. Then I hear a crash. She had fallen off the toilet.

I used to give her so much crap about it.

I drank coffee some this past summer when I worked 9-5. It helped some, but not too much.

Went to bed at 4am last Thursday morning after writing a 9 page essay. Come 6:30 when it was time for me to get up I hadn't slept a bit.

I have ADHD and it runs in my family, but a doctor told me not to get on meds because the meds will stop the one thing the gives people with ADHD an advantage over everyone else....hyper focus.

Sure, ADHD can cripple your ability to focus on things of little to no interest. However, if you're an entrepreneur or creative individual (I'm both), you can use ADHD to your advantage because ADHD works exactly the opposite for things that you are interested in...you hyper focus on interesting stuff, making you far more likely to succeed in similar fields of interest.

I never thought of it that way and now that I think about it, there are some things that I would consider myself an expert on because its something that interests me.

Same for me. When I start working, I'll probably be able to stop taking it as I'll actually be interested in what I'm doing and it'll help me to become a workaholic like Saban (he probably has it as well). Right now, studying the random shite I'm studying- I don't care and need to tune everything out

I haven't had issues with it this semester, but last semester I had a period of weird insomnia.

There is nothing more frustrating than knowing you need to go to class tomorrow. Going to bed at a reasonable hour (well before midnight). Then sleeping through your alarms and missing class because though you went to bed at 10pm, you didn't fall asleep till 3 or 4 am.

I could spend hours reading random things about sports or certain video games.

Games with deep lore that have their own wikipedia pages can capture me for hours. You read a page and see a link somewhere on the page to another page so you click it. Then you click a link on that page. So on and so forth.

If I put the amount of effort into school as I do into games or sports I would ace everything.

Do a google search of famous and super successful entrepreneurs who also happen to have ADHD.

They credit their success to ADHD. The list will blow your mind. Some of the most successful people on planet Earth have ADHD.

They used it to hyper focus on making their dream (interests) a reality.

Most people would've given up long before due to uncertainty, risk of failure, etc.

ADHD is like having superman powers. Adderall is kryptonite for people who have ADHD.

My old arse had ADHD long before it became popular to have. Only two drugs for it at the time.

You think you will be interested, bu even if you get into a field you enjoy, most of the time you will be doing stupid bullshite for someone else.

It is simply putting in your time, but it is boring as hell.
