I'm just not attracted to most black women. Unfortunately not being into something gets you labled a racist these days.

Where do you live? Because I can't think of a single white girl i know who would date a black guy...it's pretty much socially rejected in the deep south. The shaming and name calling and social shunning a girl would receive here for dating a black guy would probably cause suicide, not to mention her family disowning her.

You have to live in rural MS Delta. Not so sure anything would be uttered in the larger cities. I have a buddy here in Jackson who only dates black women and he has only received backlash from black people which I thought was rather weird.

I live in Texas and well, there's probably some white girls that won't date black guys I just haven't seen many if any at all, went to private school and there really isn't any racism, we hear about it from other rich private schools but we don't see it. People are learning to love each other these days that's what I know.

CrimsonChin, I'm pretty sure if it was Amari Cooper, or one of many Bama studs you root for on Saturdays, "long dicking" one of your female family members down, you wouldn't have a problem.

Only if he still continued to win for Alabama.

If you didn't know I was black you'd probably assume I was white from the description above.

Well......

I know plenty of black people who wear sperrys and polo but still keep it 100.

Obviously the sperrys/polo combo is the point of intersection between the Cornball Brothas and those Down With The Cause on the Blackness Coordinate Grid

FIFY. You can walk down any given street in Atlanta and see married interracial couples.

My cousin down there just had a baby with a white girl a few years ago.

It was really big at my middle and high school, which were both pretty diverse in terms of race and economic standing. also this was around 2005-2008, when rappers were kings to these kids and Hip-Hop could do no wrong. What with most rappers being from Atlanta, and Atlanta only being 3 hours away we were always trying to imitate their style. So when rappers like T.I. and all of them were wearing Polo shirts, Bermuda shorts and white nikes EVERY black kid was wearing that to school(except me because I was too nerdy to pull it off).

Yeah, that's not how it works. Several gay friends of mine came from the same kind of families. One is even from a home where the father is a pastor, mother a mayor, and his other three siblings are completely straight. His parents are two of the most loving people ever.

Very true...Hell my uncle is a deacon and wouldn't go to his daughter's wedding because of religious beliefs.

It's still pretty prevalent but nothing like it was 50 years ago

The fact that America is becoming more and more aware of race relations and interracial relationships are viewed as a normal thing nowadays is a testament to how things are improving. Not that there's anything wrong with being with someone from your own race(because i know someone will insinuate that), i was just saying.

The people who have racist thoughts or just "can't imagine" having a son or daughter dating someone of a different color are going to start dying out in the next 20 years or so. Plain and simple.

It's not a big deal. You MiL and FiL's ideas of the world are slowly expiring. Every day shite is getting better. 60 years ago 96% of this country didn't believe interracial marriage was okay. Now it's only about 25%. Pretty soon it'll be 0%.
