Looks like he was having issues with his car, got out to check, and was hit by a dump truck.

Although he had problems in Washington because he came out early and was a little immature, by all accounts he was very well liked by histeammates at OSU, especially his friend Justin Fields, who he helped transfer to OSU, and one reason why he left early for the pros. Watching him he sure was accurate and had a cannon of an arm 9could throw it almost 100 yards. Broke Drew Brees and bIG10 records. RIP.

He was also the guy who beat out Joe Burrow in 2018 leading to Burrow's transfer to LSU.

That’s sad, it’s a reminder to exercise extreme caution if you ever have to exit a vehicle on or near a road way.

It's amazing how many people are hit this way.
I was watching a video just yesterday where a driver fell asleep and hit some folks changing a tire, they survived luckily.

Yeah that does happen often. Road way construction and road side assistance are very dangerous jobs even with all the safety precautions they utilize.

I don't think that poster was being a dick about Dwayne himself, it was more so pointing out that it isn't sec related in anyway. There's multiple threads including a sticky on the appropriate board...

Yeah, he really was..... I believe he passed for over 5000 yards or something like that in the one year he started. the QB competition sure worked out well for OSU and LSU also.
