One of the funniest things when I went to auburn was the fact that Alabama celebrates Robert e lees bday on mlk day too. Who you drinkin for today? Lee or king?

This is dumb. I'm from Virginia... you know, the birthplace of Robert E. Lee and I think it's absurd.

I did read MLK's Letter a From Birmingham Jail this morning though.

I'm not drinking, but enjoying the day off thanks to Martin. Lee didn't do shite for my holidays.

I've lived in Alabama my whole life and never heard of anyone celebrating Lee.

Well, looks like Palin got things going today.
Happy MLK, Jr. Day!
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
Mr. President, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card.

I like her. She kicks the hornet's nest often and makes things entertaining.

I do like the liberals reaction to her but she hurts the republican image when she opens her mouth.

It's actually an official state holiday. Too bad for the racists the Federal holiday for MLK overshadows it.
