Have any of you been through Tommy John or Tennis elbow surgery?

I know I need tommy John....but for over a year I’ve had chronic tennis elbow in the same arm.

The combo of this makes me want to rip the mother fricker from my torso. It’s become level 8 pain, daily.

Can Dr.’s twist tie and clip fix this at the same time?

Sounds like you're close to ripping something else off near your waist.

Seems like something your Dr would be able to tell you

If you think the Off Topic Board is more retarded than the actual OT lounge, then there is more wrong with you than your elbow.

But either way, I've had tennis elbow and it stinks. Good luck.

I thought it would be a place that I could ask a legit question to a group of like minded fellas. No harm. Thought maybe someone had a similar story.

I’ll add you to the no substance/retard list. Thanks for checking into my thread.

After reading through your last few messages, I would like to apologize for using the word, retard. I didn’t know you were actually, retarded.

What's retarded is you asking advice, with literally 0 background, no pics of the alleged tears, nothing... yet expecting us to formulate a correct response. But please, I implore you to take this shite info to the other OT and see what diagnosis you get. Or you know, go to a fricking doctor.

The question asked? Can someone have tommy John and tennis elbow at same time.

I realize that you are trolling but let’s not act like this question is shite.....I thought it was a pretty good question.

I have. MRI confirmed it.

What else you need from me?

Real talk: my MRI was 10 years back.

I chose not to have surgery then, big mistake.

For last two years, chronic tennis elbow has set in. Comes and goes but this time is for real. Everything is compensating.

I just wanted to know if the dr could repair both at once.....basically what my OP was asking.

These are completely different. I had issues with both elbows awhile back and took cortisone shots. While I didn't have the surgery, it's simple; they just cut a tendon and that's it. TJ is rebuilding the elbow and that takes a year to get over.

Needing TJ surgery and wanting the pain from tennis elbow to go away are two differnt things.

Treat the tennis elbow first with an injection. Then see how it feels.

Sure

But then you'd just wear out the other side with porn-elbow.
