Why the frick did Master Roshi sit on his arse all of DBZ when he proves in Super he's still a good and strong fighter?

Also, why not just use mafuba every time an enemy shows up? DBZ would've been over in like 20 episodes max.

Akira Toriyama isn't a sellout like that. GT and all the movies that were made without him were the only toy grabs.

But as great as Toriyama is I wouldn't be shocked if he had forgotten about mafuba for all of DBZ. There was a character named Launch in Dragon Ball that was Tien's love interest. She only got left out of DBZ because Toriyama literally just forgot about her.

Bowl, how old are you? Not hating, but I'm 30 and DBZ was a little past my time. I know everyone that watches it enjoys it, but don't know if I could get into it. What exactly is it about? Lol

26, I was the perfect age to enjoy DBZ.

Part of it is that I started watching this when I was 8 and have always loved it.

My favorite tv series always have large expanded universes which DB definitely has, and they're usually sci-fi or fantasy and DB is like a mix of those two genres. So it fits with things I already like anyway (although its the only Anime I really watch).

I assume your son is pretty young? Start him off with the original Dragon Ball series. It starts off with Goku as a baby and follows him as a kid as he grows up. DBZ starts with Goku's son as a small child and you see him grow up through that series. Then by Super Goku's granddaughter is a baby.
Depending on how fast your son watched through the series then its like growing up with a character which is cool.

I've started noticing over the last month that somebodys been going through threads on this board and downvoting all my posts. I actually noticed it happen once, I had posts in the top 3 threads on the page and when I came back 5 minutes later somebody had gone through all 3 threads and downvoted all of my posts and only my posts

I was pretty sure I knew it was because the only post in that time was a bama fan who's always a little bitch. I already forgot who it was though because I don't care. If anything I find it pretty sad.

A few years ago I downloaded every episode from DB to DBGT to watch while I made plaques. I haven't seen any of the new stuff though. I still remember watching the Frieza saga as a kid and Goku going Super Saiyan.

The new stuff from Super has been awesome. They're about halfway through the series with the english dub as well. It airs on Adult Swim

I wouldn't waste the time watching GT. I mean, I've seen it before but I wouldn't watch it again. Its trash and its not even canon anyway.

You should definitely watch Super though. Honestly it may be better than DBZ, or at the least it doesn't have the 100+ filler episodes that DBZ has, most episodes are action which is awesome.

I thought you would have been older than that, Lew
