I've tripped hundreds of times when I was in my twenties. Sometimes it was great, but sometimes it was horrible. I'm glad I did it and without getting too hippy-dippy sounding, it helped change the way I viewed the world and my place in it.

I haven't been able to try acid yet but I did shrooms recently. I got pretty emotional in my thoughts and just sat by myself and learned alot for a while about love and time and God and stuff.
Also the Rocks I was sitting on had little faces and I was talking to them. I long to try acid though

LOL. My brother just called me and offered me a hit right before I opened your thread. I am a little weary about it because he got them from the dark net. I have enjoyed the 3 times I have done it in the past but I am not sure if I am going to take him up on the offer. Most of the silicon valley geeks use LSD.

Yes, and I watched Shrek my first time. It's actually how I got this moniker "Gary Busey". Got obsessed with his gifs and videos online, and ended up choosing it for really no reason.
Understandably, people will downvote and call it trashy, but acid is a pretty fun and spiritual experience- at least when I've done it. Main advice I would give for first timers- and in no way am I encouraging or advocating anyone to use it- do it in a comfortable environment. I wouldn't recommend doing in at someone's house, where you only know one person. Also drink plenty of water before and during the trip. Lastly, do the shite you want to. Don't listen to someone ramble on forever about listening to a certain genre, or watching a trippy show that'll "enhance your experience". Do the shite you want too, and remind yourself you're here for fun. If you're stressing over it, or have somewhere to be that day, just don't do it.
My first time was at a friend's house on Lake Martin. His parents were away, and we were in a secluded area where no one would bother us. There were only 4 of us, and we all made sure we had nothing to do the next day. Took it around 1 p.m, and I just remember being up for so long, wanting to fall asleep after the peak. We watched Shrek and I laughed my arse off when Donkey said "that's a nice boulder".
I declined to do it when I went to see STS9 at Red Rocks unfortunately. That would have been my first time, but I was too much of a chicken shite.

Pretty much my experience as well. It can be the most enlightening thing I've ever done, but it can also be the darkest thing I've ever done. It can be dangerous. I'm in my 20's. I do it about once or twice a year. Red Rocks is like heaven on acid.

I liked them when they were an Athens jam band from Young Harris. Once they added the DJ, it was hard to hang on.

Gotcha. Never got into the "When the Dust Settles album". I was introduced to them by a friend, and the first I heard was "From Now On", then just went from there with Axe the Cables. I'm not much into their new stuff, but their shows are still kick arse. Love the girl on the bass.

Never tripped. A friend had a terribly bad trip in college that changed him forever for the worse. I've never had the desire to do it after I saw what he went through.

Taking some acid and walking through the circle and grove at night is a great experience.

There was a fly in the car thought it was a bird. Stopped by the airport to let bird out of car. Stayed on the side of the road to look at the pretty lights. Three hours later we left.

I made a post in the thread earlier about shrooms and wanting acid, but I was gonna say that I'm incoming to OM and I'll be staying in the twin towers next year... Hope to get some experiences like yours
