WWP has cleaned up their act for the most part. They got too big, too fast and the folks running it were in over their head. There are better charities that do the same thing, but WWP isn't as horrible as they once were.

Ive been taken out by WWP. Lunch a few times, and they donated fees for activities during rehabilitation after a surgery. Gave me a Bag with UA swag in it. I didnt ask for it, and it was nice of them to provide that to myself and other service members.

Before i shredded my knee last March, was trying to get on with habitat for humanity. Worked construction with my dad for 18 years, so wanted to do something to give back before I told that industry to frick off after dad retired. After 10 months of struggling to walk without pain, i can't physically or fiscally afford to do it for the 11 month stint they want, at like 13k in pay. But if I could, I would. Providing affordable housing to low income families, who also have sweat equity in their home, really sang to me.

St. Jude's is amazing. I donate to them whenever I get the chance, in fact I donated 50 dollars to them just last week. In addition to their research and treatment programs St. Jude's also has affiliate clinics throughout the region, including Baton Rouge, Huntsville, and Springfield, Missouri.
One of my nephews was treated there, free of charge like every patient they take in. It really is a wonderful charity.

If you don't have anything locally that you are passionate about, I also recommend St. Jude. You can't go wrong helping out kids with cancer. I was just there for a CLE, seeing families speak about what St. Jude did for them and then touring the campus is a major eye opener. The thing that was a real gut punch to me is how happy most of the kids there are, because they don't know any other life. Those kids are an inspiration if you are ever feeling bad about things in your won life

OP:
Go to GoFundMe and look up "DownSouthJukin Cayman Islands Fund." The weather here in the Deep South has taken its toll and the doctor said I should move to a tropical paradise. Please help.
