And I'm new to my SEC college town area. What are the places he would go to in Nashville? Cause I'm looking for some good places too.
Here's where he has been in the Nashville area:
Savarino's (Hillsboro Village)
Arnold's (downtown on 8th)
Athens (8th Avenue, Melrose)
Bro's (Charlotte Pike)
Cafe Rakka (Hendersonville)
Martin's BBQ (Nolensville)
I have been to all those except Cafe Rakka. I really like Arnold's (weekday plate lunch), Martin's (by far the best barbecue in the area) and Savarino's (small family-run italian place with excellent sandwiches and a killer stuffed pepper, but slow service). Athens is good for breakfast and late night (24 hour diner), while Bro's is pretty much the only cajun place in the area (used to be good, but they keep moving and I've not been in years). Cafe Rakka has a great reputation but it's a long way to get there...

1. Booche's
Their cheeseburgers, which are served on wax paper, were named one of the top ten burgers in America by USA Today in 2000. In 2005, Jerry Shriver of USA Today included Booches's hamburger on the list of top 25 dishes from his "Down-home Dining" project.[1]
Booches has three full-sized pool tables, two snooker tables, and one billiard table (no pockets) for three cushion billiards play. Booches hosts yearly invitation-only Snooker and 3-cushion tournaments.
Booches is known for the saying "Closed on Sunday, see you in church," among other witticisms posted on their walls, including "Unattended children will be sold as slaves" and "No sniveling." Also adorning the walls are faux-original comic strips incorporating Booches's regulars, team photos of the Mizzou football teams in the early 1900s, and other old-time sports memorabilia.
2. Shakespeare's
In November 2010, Shakespeare's was the winner of “Best Bites Challenge: College Edition” on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Slogan: Have you had a piece....today?
3. Cafe Berlin
Located in a completely remodeled gas station on the edge of The District, Cafe Berlin serves up local, delicious breakfast (all day!) and lunch items with unique twists.
Nearly everything, from the mushrooms to the coffee to the breads, are sourced from local farmers and producers, so your food is incredibly fresh. Both the breakfast and lunch selections come with fantastic homemade sides and coffee is served up in mismatched mugs that add to the charm of the small hangout.
Our recommendation? The Apples & Sausage is a sweet and spicy start to your day. And if you add a pancake, it’s breakfast bliss.

Good post Semo, to be honest I never have made it to Cafe Berlin yet. But Booche's and Speare's are always on my to do list when I make it into town!

Cafe Berlin is breakfast and lunch pretty much. Great food. That sausage and apples with a pancake is fantastic. You should check it out.

Also recommend Strickland's on the westside of town. Their gravy covered pork chop biscuit is amazing.

Hullabaloo Diner in CS is awesome. Huge portion and every type of food from breakfast to pizza.

I'm not endorsing either of these, but DDD did a segement in Lexington and went to these places. Parkette is OK, never eaten at JJ McBrewsters.

Athens:
Cali N Tito's - Cuban place on Lumpkin. Great sandwiches.
Clocked- probably the best burgers in Athens. Lots of really cool combinations.
Last Resort- incredible American style food. GREAT cheesecake.
Clocked is good... except it takes an hour and a half to get a cheeseburger, no matter the day or night.
Cali N Tito's
Last Resort is great, but I don't know how you put it on a list of Diners, Drive ins, and Dives. Great Crabcakes, but it's white tablecloth... different category.

He's been to Hullabaloo diner in CS on the show I believe. Fargo's in Bryan and Chicken Oil would be two other good ones
I would add Koppe Bridge and Sodalaks over in Snook as well

They came to Pawley's Front Porch in Columbia, SC when I was living there. I took a blurry photo w/ Guy Fieri. My roommate was bartending there and got us seats inside during the filming... a friend made it on tv but I didn't.

Is that the place that has 5 apps, 5 entrees, 5 drinks? We just got one in Athens if those are the same.
Is that the new place across from last resort?

Peaches was closed on weekends, I think. Because we tried that and it wasn't open.
