I have two degrees from Ole Miss, bachelors and juris doctorate, and it could be a lot worse. I'm living comfortably enough to buzz tRant when I feel like it, and my area of law randomly has a good 'program' at Ole Miss without having specialization certification yet. The law school will probably have a full-blown certification program in place for what I mostly studied (it's a resumé builder ultimately; knowledge is knowledge) by 2025, maybe the first in the conference if UGA doesn't get there first, but my profs carried a lot more weight than I could've imagined once I hit the job pool. Couldn't have asked for more bang for the buck, and I'm getting offers in NYC and LA for whenever I decide to leave the South. Considering I transferred to Ole Miss from a small east coast liberal arts school, my benefactors and I couldn't have asked for more. Ironically, the professor who educated me in my first class in my major at said elite liberal arts school was also the last professor to educate me in my predominant major at Ole Miss. I was literally getting the same education (tested into major level classes out of HS), except instead of paying ~$53k a year, I was on scholarship. The SEC has vastly underrated liberal arts colleges in its universities across the board, and selfishly I'll probably donate more towards academics than athletics over my lifetime

University of Tennessee and Arizona State for me. Got a degree from Tennessee. Going to take my GI Bill and get back in school in the next year or so once the military cuts me loose.

I went to Bama and loved it. Thinking about doing grad school and getting my Public Administration degree, however I'm not sure that the reward will be worth it. Anybody have an MPA?
Nobody does Public Administration quite like the Auburn Tigers.

Especially if you're an athlete.

I really appreciate your response!
But jobs in Colorado have turned down my resume already. I have tried.
Are they a unique market for some reason.
That State is really not that big.

Graduated from Auburn in 2012. I hardly use my degree at all but my time at auburn led me to where i am now, for which i am extremely grateful. I started an internship while in school for a software company way out of my field of study. Now I am the director of business development for them.

Small private school undergrad, UGA law school.
Both ended up as great choices for me. Currently in the midst of a very rewarding legal career.

Graduated from ole Miss with a finance degree (
) in 2013. Still make less than 40k/year before bonuses. Idk what I'm gonna do with my life career wise. Seems like it's a wasted degree without a master's. Considering going back to school to get certified in something more useful.

What city are you in? Finance is pretty good, just need to get in something like oil and gas?

Live in Memphis. I should say that it was banking and finance while I should have at least done managerial finance.

You're only a few years out, you can always go back and get something/MBA or work your way up where you're at.

It's a Masters degree. I'll be okay with that.
