I've managed to cut back quite a bit. I can still enjoy alcohol, but now I don't need alcohol. I can go a month without taking sip.

I'm lucky. I just read an article about actress Hayden Panettiere (Heroes and Nashville) where she was talking about how she had to take sips of alcohol during the day or she'd get the shakes. I was never that bad and I'm happy I've turned my life around before I got to that point.

Needed to see this again this morning Lunatik

Happy as hell for you man. Still no liquor here but eventually everything else will have to go with it.

Glad to hear it. Again, it's not a brag thing or a preachy thing. But, I kinda see it the same as talking about exercising in that hopefully in a moment that someone is thinking about it, they may be reminded by this and do it.

No one should take this as you preaching down our throats. Your testimony is powerful and you should do everything in your power to spread this message. It is important and so many need to hear it.

Congrats! Friday will be 6 years without a drink for me. Life has been much better, and I remember most of it.
