I did too. But then I started thinking about the real point behind it and figured I'd post it here because I'm a miserable, Godless human being

Well I've noticed that this board is pretty atheist. Even though in theory I'm a Christian, some of the religious threads do make me laugh.

My main problem with the main religions are that they are all more or less connected. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are all based on the same "God" yet still kill each other over who's more right or wrong. Religion is the biggest murderer in the world, yet the most violent religions are always "religions of peace".

I'm not an atheist tho, I believe there is something but no man knows what his/her's/it's opinions are or what he does and doesn't want us to do. I'm damn sure not going to say one religion is right or one is wrong in the belief of a higher power or lack there of.

Well it's kindof a bullshite answer, but I expect you already knew that.

Saying "it's faith" or "it's God's will" or "God is mysterious" are all cop out answers. They're the theological equivalent of your mother saying "because I said so, that's why."
