Give me the kids before their dumbass parents all day and twice on Sunday.
My dad was a high school teacher and it seemed like every parent he encountered had the "my child does no wrong" mentality. Some stupid fricks in that town.

It's every where bro. When we were kids we were told that if we got our asses tore up at school, we were gonna get it again at home. Now days, parents think their kids are perfect and everything is the system's fault because for God's sake it cant be their baby's.

I actually bitch slapped a kid in school who made a life-threat to my dad after my dad caught him dipping in class, showed the can to his mom and his mom accused my dad of planting the evidence.
I really wanted to make it two for two with her, but I couldn't bring myself to hit a woman at that age.

My wife hid under her desk from a parent one day
Don't blame her.
My favorite story is when I was working in the main office here and two parents who were in a full on custody battle over this kid (Matt). Matt was living with his Dad and in the middle of a divorce with Mom. So when Dad showed up to pick up Matt, Mom hid in the bushes in the front of our building and maced him when he came up to the front door. Managed to spray the Dad, Matt, and our Family Resource Coordinator too.
If you want to see why a kid's cray cray, 90% of the time you can just look at their parents.

This woman was notorious for giving teachers hell about her perfect little angel child. When he reached 9th grade (yes, he was in 9th grade when this happened) the High School teachers wouldn't put up with her shite. I only wish cell phone cameras were around back then to catch her face after I bitch slapped little Mr. perfect in front of her.

Those parents are horrible to deal with. When I was working in the high schools, I was dealing with the parents who were trying to live vicariously through their athlete children. I hated those parents with a passion.

The dad on Varsity Blues is SUCH a dead on account of these people. When you watch that movie, you think, surely there is no way there are idiots like that out there.... Oh yes, and that guy is actually pretty fricking tame.

Absolutely. You can always look at the parents to see where crazy comes from.
I feel sorry for the FRC. He had a bad day

He is exactly like some of these people. It is very upsetting to see the way some of these parents push these kids. I had a running back that would get punished if he fumbled or didn't get so many yards, first downs, etc in every game.

I blame every mental deficiency I have on my parents divorcing and fighting over me/using me as a tool of war.

No doubt. I'll probably cry when he retires. He's all kinds of awesome. And the kids love him.

Yeah, but her obscenely idiotic southern accent ruins it for me though.
