I never called Atlanta a war zone, just a shite hole. It's like Baton Rouge with worse food and 5 million extra people. Also, MARTA's a joke.

Lots of very ignorant comments about Atlanta in this thread. It's very obvious you've never spent any meaningful amount of time in this city, and have never visited or know anything at all about all of the great intown neighborhoods. That's ok. Just keep comparing it Baton Rogue and make yourself look silly.

I wouldn't enjoy taking the buses, but the MARTA trains are good. You have no clue what you're talking about.

I would agree with this. The trains need to go to more areas than they do, but the service is fine for what it is.
