Thanks for your service but I don't think I would tell that story to anyone.

Think of it as a tale of caution. Do not do what I did.

Not Army but I’d pick something that transitions to a high paying civilian job.

I'm steering my boys to Cyber Transport Systems. Unlimited earning potential on the outside.

Not saying it was the best, but 52B-30 was Power Generation Equipment Repairman. Had my AIT at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia for about 4 months, 18 miles south of Washington DC.

None of them. The Army isn't worth serving in anymore.

frick that man…skip the Army and go Air Force.

This is coming from a guy who is on year 23 in the army. 10 as 11M and now 13 as a 153M.

Or if you’re dead set on the Army a Boat Warrant wouldn’t be a bad choice.

18 series MOS if you qualify and can complete the training. 35 series if you put in 10 or more years. 15 Series if you want to work in a town like Huntsville when you get out.

This. Or take the DLAB and go into the language field. Learn Chinese or Arabic. Profit.

Cyber or HR. When I became a captain I switched branches from MP to AG and it certainly helped me in the civilian world.
