LSU is TJ Ribs. Not sure who ULL’s BBQ place is.

Yeah, but isn't it technically a chain? I tried to avoid those.

But point taken and I'll fix it if I'm wrong....

Good food, but my own bias makes me averse to Pepsi product venues.

Bs BBQ is so so to meh except for their brisket. It is delicious.

Their breakfasts are best deal in Oxford as well.

But, for pulled pork BBQ and ribs, there really isn't a standout place in Oxford.

Lots of quality gas station food in the area though. It's crazy how good some of the lunches are in the northern MS gas stations.

We are of the same mindset.

Just searching Googlz, I was pretty disappointed with the BBQ in both Oxford and Starkville.

There was a great place (by comparison to other options) in Batesville (Burns BBQ) near Oxford. Long time family run place, but it just shut down in the middle of the night.

I was blown away at how few good options there were in the area.

I ate at Bow & Arrow BBQ in Auburn a few months ago, and can't imagine any place in town is better than it.

Also OP, please correct the post to reflect the real Archibald's location.

It is. It's out by the airport across from the Church of the Highlands campus. Same owners as Acre.

not sure if they're SEC Related, but my favorites are

#1. Big Bs Barbecue - Alexander City, Alabama - the Ghost Burger smothered in Jalapenos is tasty, plus all the waitresses wear skimpy shorts during the Summer

#2 Sho Nuff BBQ - Alexander City , Alabama - if you go here try the Large BBq or Monster Hog

#3 Champs BBQ - Wetumpka, Alabama - some of the best Potato Salad & Banana pudding ever

#4 Hog Rock BBQ - Wetumpka, Alabama - Fries are very good
