I support their protest for George, but when they mention EJ I cringe.

They did get at least part of the "monument" down. Good riddance to that piece of trash celebrating sedition. Birmingham wasn't even a city when the Civil War occurred.

Surprisingly, I don't think there are any in Tuscaloosa. At least on city property.
I can't think of any at least. There is a cemetery near Capitol Park that used to have a Decoration Day back in the day.

I have to give some respect to Funnymaine. At least he's willing to lose endorsements for his beliefs. Something LeBron is scared to do.

What part of the obelisk? I stopped watching. Only statue I saw them take down was one of Linn, a banker....

I was wrong. It was the Linn statue.

Is the memorial for confederate soldiers trained at UA still in front of Gorgas Library? I admittedly haven’t been on campus since A-Day in 2018.

He’s apparently posted a lot of awful stuff on his personal Facebook page. Not just today but in the past. His Funnymaine stuff is just an act it seems.

As far as I know it's still there. That one is fine, as there is some historical significance to it.
I don't think there are any of the monuments the Daughters Of the Confederacy peppered around the south in the early 1900's.

Which one? I feel like there's probably quite a few around downtown, but the only thing I can think of around I-65 N is the Wright Brothers' plane.
How can you miss this big arse flag going up/down I-65 in the heart of Alabama.
