Baby names question

Morning everyone....
So, a while back I know some of you may remember me asking what you guys thought some pregnancy test results. Well I knew and some of you confirmed my thoughts, but Mrs. RTMJ and I are having a baby. As of Tuesday, we are 12 weeks along. My wife is predicting a girl so that's the only name we have been able to come up with.
My question is for those with kids. Did you find it harder to pick a name in case it wasn't a girl for example? It seems like every boy name the other mentions we can't agree or it just doesn't sound right.
We are going to be finding out in May whether it's going to be a boy or girl, but my wife is trying to plan a way to tell our parents but we need to have a name picked out in case it's a boy.

Yeah, that's what we are trying to do. My wife is convinced (primarily off of heart rate) that it's going to be a girl. I told her that you never know for sure until they do the gender reveal ultrasound so we better be deciding on a boy name just in case.

This thread represents the bottom of the pit on how low a forum can fall into desperation.
Really: Fricking baby names on a sports forum?

Don't be mad that someone else had sex 12 weeks ago.

This is an off topic forum. If you want to talk sports go to the sec rant and stay off the "off topic" board.

Stick with family names, they're unisex.

We had a hard time with a girl name. We had a boy name picked out both times within a week of finding out she was pregnant, but our 2nd was a girl and the wife was about 4 months along before we agreed on a girl name.

Friends of mine recently left the hospital with "Baby Boy" LastName because they couldn't agree on anything.

Please stay away from the new white people trend of adding "den" to the end of every name.

From the way it's going now that could be us.

With our 4 kids we seemed to have one name or another we both agreed on, either boy or girl, but NEVER both. Was a discussion the whole 9 months.
I think you could have fun with it with the parents. Make up some crazy names like some kids get named and tell mom and dad you are thinking of something like "Shaquavious" or "LaMarketha"

Yeah, that's definitely not going to happen. I want a normal name. The girl name we have is not exactly a traditional first name but it doesn't sound dumb to me.

I told her that if we can't pick anything out and it's a boy then I'll just call him Rufus or Jebodiah.

You could always fall back on those tried and true Bama names: Krimpson Tyde and Bear.
Of course, I think Arthur Gustav would work great. Or Patrick Fain. I particularly like that second one. Or perhaps Patrick Gustav

Go to a strip joint and pick the best name of the night.

Nah, not in a million years. I'm not really a fan of clothing with the houndstooth pattern so I'm definitely not picking a name like that.

Well, you could also try "Harvey"
