Dr. Strange gives up the Time stone- if he actually did- because that's what he did in the one future that the Avenger's defeated Thanos in.

That was the conclusion my boy came to, it's the only thing that makes sense

Dr Strange willingly just handed over the stone...how did require days of thought by a 10 year old to shine light on that for you?

Also - don't they realistically have to make their best effort to save Vision because his stone is the only thing standing between Thanos and the infinity gauntlet? Once he gets that last stone, half of all life is going to die no matter what. Why not try to fight to stop it?

I will agree with your main point, however...it wasn't my favorite Marvel movie. At least it's only another year before the next one comes out and we see them get the time stone back and reverse time to bring everyone back to life. That has to happen, right>?

it wasn't days, it was roughly an hour after we got home

and I did not catch it, I guess I will have to live with the shame...

destroy the stone, and Vision with it before you send people to fight and die. You know, needs of many > needs of one

I will be shocked if most of the characters do not get resurrected

If you can get the infinity stone off Vision's head without killing him, then he could potentially be a much bigger weapon against Thanos than most of the just about all of the other Wakandans combined.

He is only powerful because of the stone though.

The people left alive were the original avengers.

Strange sacrificed himself and the stone to save iron Man probably because he saw looking through time that the avengers had to be intact to win and he couldn't let iron Man die. He was playing the "end game".

The only really dumb thing was how they tried to save the Cyber guy imo

And Justice League doesnt hold a candle .

JLA had it's good and bad. Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Cyborg were boss. In fact, in the previous movie, Superman was kind of a wuss compared to WW. It almost felt like he was a distraction at best, and she was doing the actual fighting against Doomsday.

I don't like the Affleck Batman. He seems too depressed, like he really wants to jump off a bridge, but the world needs him so he trudges on. Flash, doesn't feel like Flash to me. I like the Arrowverse one better as a young version of Flash.

As for Infinity Wars, it was awesome considering the amount of material they put into 2.5 hours. I knew immediately why Dr. Strange just gave Thanos the time stone. What I am curious about, is what is the deal with Hulk refusing to come out? Was he traumatized from the beating Thanos gave him? Did Dr. Strange somehow mystically communicate to him (but not to Banner) that he could not be involved as the Hulk with the Battle in order to eventually defeat Thanos in part 2?

He was just the Hulk for two straight years. Hulk came back out to fight Thanos, and Thanos promptly knocked him the frick out before he even could think about getting angry. He then gets sent to Earth, where he was recently told that the planet doesn't like him. Hulk is completely mindfricked right now.
