Can you hang? Can you!

Harry Rex has lived in Columbia, MO - but they were not SEC when I lived there. Only Big 12. Does that count? Got some good Mizzou buddies.

Lived in Knoxville. Got some good Vol buddies. Loved Knoxville. Absolutely adore that town. Loved the Old City and loved the music scene.

Lived in Fayetteville (still do live close) - best SEC town in the friggin world mane.

Lived in Nashville. Went to a crapload of Vandy games. Adore that town. Much family still there, and I consider it "my home outside of Arkansas."

Lived in Minneapolis. Big 10 Gopher country. Meh.

Lived in Louisville, but that was pre-ACC, pre-P5 - does that count? No.

Lived in New Orleans. Do I get to count former SEC member Tulane? No. Doesn't count.

"Lived in Lincoln, NE" for a month, in a hotel. Doesn't count.

5 points for me. Columbia, Fayetteville, Nashville, Knoxville, Minneapolis (cannot count Louisville)

Who can beat me?

I bet his sister should beat him too

As for living in NOLA, it counts if you are old as me

As for living in Louisville, you should probably deduct 5 points from your score.

You seem afraid to commit.

I’ve lived in 2 SEC towns.
One was Heaven; the other, hell.

- Born in Mobile;
- Mother remarried in Tuscaloosa (father KIA Normandy);
- Stepfather went to Lexington KY UK for a while, hated Tennessee, which isn’t unusual;
- Lived at Stanford when they were still the “Indians,” guess this doesn’t count;
- Grew up to Gainesville Fla.;
- Lived in Knoxville one year and thought it the ugliest, must wretched gray depressing place in the US...later confirmed when driving back country Tennessee looking at the things they call “people” who invest the land up there;
- Reported for Army duty at Ft Jackson, Columbia SC, long before SC in SEC;
- Stationed at Ft. Bragg for Special Forces training... does this count?
- Degrees from Alabama, married in T town on Tennessee weekend, TSIO;
- Got in fight with MS farm boys in Starkville;
- Live in New Orleans almost 40 years;
- Attended woman’s soccer game during Olympics “between the hedges,” got yelled at and threatened by local police because I had LA tags and two young sons in car and was driving carefully...great place, Athens... if you like big bellied nazis;
- Once drove into Baton Rouge and bought a corn dog at the Sonic;
- Visited Nashville which rivals Gattlingburg for culture;
- took detour to avoid Oxford once.

Grew-up a moderate UT fan, the rest of my family still are. I've got property in Jonesborough where they are. My second oldest daughter lives in Knoxville.

Lived in Memphis/Olive Branch, MS as an adult ... closet Ole Miss fan. Have attended many games - was there at the Chucky Mullens game as a matter of fact.

Immediate family member played for a year at Arkansas under Broyles, with Jones and Johnson and Switzer ... before transferring to Memphis State and helping to upset a Vaught led Ole Miss team.

I ended-up at SC ... Gamecock for life.

Lived in Louisville as a kid, Dad was a Kentucky Colonel. We used to drive to all the UK games we could because Dad enjoyed SEC games ... but we did attend a few Louisville games. Wes Unseld was a star there at the time. But we attended far more UK games ... Louisville and KY didn't always play back then, not that I remember anyway. Louisville played Memphis State more often and we would attend those games.

Lived in South Bend as a kid ... attended a lot of Notre Dame games, but those don't count.

That's all I've got.

I am a professional so best to take me out of the ranking

BTW, if you are old, you can count both Tulane and Georgia Tech

If you are really old you can count Sewanee too.

If you are not in the SEC, they do not count. In fact I would deduct points for ACC and B1G schools / towns.

I’ll have to remember to not give him the business during football season!

You're mistaking sarcasm for that.

Thanks for playing though. My empathy for other people is pretty high I think.

Acting a fool on here is also my trademark.

You followed me over from politics to say that?

I have lived near a ton of SEC schools but as far as living in them...

I was born in Tuscaloosa, my mom had moved to be with her parents while my dad was over in Vietnam (he left two hours after I was born) and they lived in some small town just outside the city limits.

I lived in New Orleans for a year growing up, then spent another year just north of Baton Rouge for a near miss there. Lived in Georgia at Ft. Benning as a child, then went back for basic training some time later for the near miss with Athens and Atlanta.

Lived down the road from Jacksonsville. I have lived in Memphis, which might be the most SEC city to not have an SEC team.

And twenty some odd years of living in Fayetteville.

Add in stints in Northern Virginia (loved it), a brief spell out in California (hated it), and a longish stay at Great Lakes Navy Base (tolerated it), and three years in Destin (loved during the winter/hated it in the summer) and you've got most of my life story.
