You’re from Oklahoma, so not surprising.
Although I’m a UGA alumnus and currently live in Atlanta, my hometown is Annapolis, Maryland and us east coasters are interested in lots of things.
Funny that Utah has managed to land a MLS team and Oklahoma hasn’t. Even still, don’t you support USMNT?

USMNT
I had to look that up.
We are getting USL whatever that is. I dont follow it and never liked it.
I was in Barcelona back in 2012 and turned down free transportation and tickets to watch one of their matches when they were #1 or #2.. Closest I'll get to soccer is Ted Lasso.
OKC Soccer Team

Never a fan of Soccer…but I really enjoyed all of the visiting international Soccer fans for a hot-minute this summer while here in the USA and losing their shite over the Waffle House/Buccee’s/Cracker Barrel “Americana- Experience”.
Enjoyed the shite out of the fact that the Scotland fans managed to drink Boston entirely dry within 48 hours of their collective arrival.

OKC United is going to be great addition to soccer. Looking forward to them.
As for the USMNT, we beat Mexico this past Saturday 3-0. We haven’t beaten Mexico in I don’t know how many matches. We play Canada tomorrow night. And a good storyline there if you look up Canada’s head coach.
So, sure, we can beat each other over the head in College football. But there are other things out there.
Pulling for you guys in the Red River Shootout, btw.

Considering there is an entire Soccer board, that would be a yes.

Y’all hosted a match between Argentina and Iceland at Jordan-Hare immediately preceding the World Cup. That was cool of cool. There’s some nice videos of Auburn welcoming the world. Good stuff.

Yeah, the international “Football” community likes to roll their eyes & condescendingly mock our “cute” version of “American Football”…but we put on a pretty good show for ‘em in Jordan Hare.
We had our Eagle do it’s pre-game thing…
…circle in flight around the field a few times, get the crowd into a frenzy…and swiftly swoop down, strike, eviscerate, and devour a small rodent at mid-field
At least for moment, those bastards weren’t REMOTELY mocking or condescending about our “cute” version of “American Football” when the War-Damn-Eagle feasted on fresh prey just before the the “Footballers” took to the “Pitch” on a balmy summer night in The Loveliest Village On The Plains

Ok, so don’t Auburn too much. Fútbol is the most popular sport on the planet regardless of race, economic status, religion. That’s just a fact. [

I don’t think it was a show. I just think Auburn did a damn good job hosting people. That’s not surprising.

My son played for 11 or 12 years.
But no, I don't enjoy it.
I don't enjoy it enough to follow it, but I did enjoy the World Cup. Even took my son to Auburn to see Messi.
