My whole life up until 6 years ago I never had anxiety flying. It started 6 years ago when my wife (no pics) and I were flying out to Jackson Hole. The turbulence was so bad that the drink cart jumped about a foot off the ground. Ever since then I have been unable to shake this fear of flying. The fear doesn’t prevent me from flying, I still do it. But it involves a process of prayer and heavy drinking. Anyone else have issues? How do you deal with it? Inb4 stop being such a pussy.

I have never experienced anxiety in my lifetime until recently. The reason is not important here, but it was something that I was taking that caused it. Anyway, the doctors were trying all kinds of shite because what was happening to me didn't really make any medical sense. Finally I was put on clonidine which helps calm your fight or flight instinct. That knocked it out completely. I have to take it twice a day for now. But, I feel back to the way I was before all of this bullshite happens. I wouldn't wish how I felt on anyone with all of that anxiety. I would rather have broken bones or something else. That shite really freaked me out. I also take a xanax now and then if I need to. But, haven't needed as much lately.

They tried me on propanalol first which is what they give people before public speaking. They would probably try you on that first. That actually made my anxiety worse.

I swear, there must be some chemical (like PFAS) we're unknowingly exposing ourselves to which is driving these hormonal increases in obesity, anxiety, gender confusion, and other health-related issues.

After we finally identify it, I think it will be seen as the "leaded gasoline" of our generation, and they'll eventually remember us as having been incredibly ignorant for unwittingly allowing it for so long.

You may be on to something. But, my specific case is really caused by me being so sensitive to medicines now. Anything that has to build up in my system can set off some sort of reaction. I had a bad Vitamin D3 defenciency. Doctor gave me a range of what dose to take. Since mine was so low, I took the highest dose. It's just vitamins, right? Well, after feeling better than ever for a few months, I started to notice that I had too much energy without taking any stimulants whatsoever. I went home one night and took my gummies and hit my vape like I do every day to relax and calm down. Well, something in this instance caused my flight or flight instinct to be elevated x1000. Went to the ER thinking I had a heart attack or something. Turns out, that taking that much of that vitamin caused my system to overreact to one thing that turned out to be dibilitating.
