This seems more politics than sports. But I'm of two minds on this. I agree that 11 year olds should not be watching porn. However, I also don't want porn sites to have a copy of my ID to view. ID theft, hacks, etc. I don't need sites having my ID on file.

See we have representatives who formulate the laws, popular or not. Those laws are then voted on among the "lawmakers". If the proposed law gets more yes votes than no votes it passes and is given an "effective date". The porn law was voted on long before the fictitious scandal was blasted all over Twitter by people who can't even spell LSU. So one (the law) has nothing to do with the other (fake scandal).
