If you pay property tax in your city or county, it is being taken by government. If you fail to pay property tax, government will take said property.
Government will take your money in the form of taxes on your income, they will take your property for failing to pay the taxes on it. There ain't a damn thing you can do about it. If that ain't a form of slavery, I don't know what is.
