Here’s an idea. Stop having kids if you can’t afford them. I have zero kids because I decided I didn’t want that responsibility, or couldn’t handle it, and no one wins in that situation.
People who don’t hold other people accountable for their dumb decisions are the problem. Stop enabling this. They should be ashamed of themselves for bringing a child into this world and blaming the government for not bailing them out.
Congrats, your kid got an apple for Christmas because you made a stupid decision.

You mean government who basically encourages this and pays for it with your tax dollars?

Thus ensuring the survival of the New Iberia Cajun Baw, providing a useful supplement to his copper acquisition.

Just to note, you can't get birth control ($6 a mo at Walmart) without a prescription, but you can buy RU-486 over the counter, without a scrip. There are so many versions of it on Walmart.com I don't know which ones are effective or dangerous.
But let's talk about not anticipating problems. They sell "emergency" contraception in a 3 pack.

What’s the average cost to feed a person in a nursing home per day?
How about prison?
If you said <$9.38, you are correct.

Part 2
How much is subtracted from food stamped when a kid eats a free breakfast and lunch at school?
If you said $0.0, you are again correct.

An abortion pill is over the freaking counter?
I get why birth control needs a prescription, it fricks some people up (condoms don’t, btw). But… abortion pill over the counter? Good lord. Even if you’re one of those fat lesbians at pro choice rallies, anyone who has a soul should be freaked out by that.

What menu for a 4-team family?
Single mom and 3 kids?
3 will eat breakfast and lunch for "free" at school. For dinner the mom will have all the high processed snacks foods, cereals, and premade sandwiches they can want. Sodas too.
She'll have a lot left over and sell those for cash. No reason to save any of that for when the kids are out of school. That's what the "summer feeding" program is for!

Upside down pringles in single serving cups, per the OT Lounge, then admins deleted the topic.
