I continue to become more and more cynical about last night's loss. We finally have a legitimate shot to get into the national title game and (in playing a tradtional offense in FSU) I believe would have had a good shot to win it with the confidence our guys would have had. Woulda. Coulda. Shoulda. Someone convince me we will have this shot again in the next ten years. The stars were aligned.

I vacillate. My wife kept saying, "They had a good year." And I kept saying, "We may never be in this position again as long as I'm alive."

But we do what we do. And what we do works. Like 61.6% of the time.

I'm wit ya Remote. Been a fun ride this year. Did some stars align just right? Sure. But this team showed a lot of heart and played as a team. There's a lot of talent on this team and a lot more coming in. I don't know that it will be as fast as next year, but Mizzou will be there again. A way too early look forward tells me we should be in the thick of it again next year. UF, UK, UT and Vandy are what they are. GA loses Murray. Enough said. SC loses the Tiger killer Shaw. Enough said. We'll be in this fight again.
