No one from MO says it. Not even in Southern MO. Don't try and act like we're suddenly southern because we joined the SEC.

You live in Southern California, no need to call anyone a "poser". I've used the word "y'all" in my vocabulary since birth, but I'm not originally from MO, so I guess that makes sense. Either way I know tons of people from the bootheel that use y'all in their vocabulary, and in all honesty it makes sense. They do only like about 45 minutes from Memphrica.

I grew up in MO. Went to college in MO. Moved to SoCal when I joined the Navy. Trust me I never heard anyone say y'all, that was always reserved for my family from Arkansas.

If you weren't born and raised in MO then you get a pass, but any True Son does not say y'all. It's just not part of the Missouri culture. I think some posters are trying to hard to fit in. JMHO.

I know a guy from the bootheel of Missouri who is very, very southern. Says "y'all", went to Sewanee, drives a truck, etc.

Yeah, that's why I've decided to jump in head first. I lurked for a bit, but it's pretty damn entertaining around these parts. Can't wait to see what it's like when the actual games get played. Should be epic.
