going into the season, i never would have imagined this being the number. the way i see it, this is a pivotal time in missouri football's history. it would be easy to pack it in for the rest of the season and kick cbo to the curb after last weekend's performance, but i see missouri being competeitve.

what result would you be happy with this weekend?

If the team comes out and competes, it will be progress. I don't see any way that happens.

With Auburn having the best defense we've faced so far it's going to be tough putting points on the board and with a player's not giving a shite whether we win or lose im not to sure if we cover on this one.

Exactly. Curious to see if there's any fight left in the players.. There's absolutely no excuse to lay down the rest of the season.. It's time for them to nut the fk up.

I will be happy if they stop attempting throws at the perimeter on 2nd down and attack the middle of the field.

Cover? Hell to the no. The only reason the spread is 20 so why would losing by 19 ever be seen as a positive.

As I'm sure others will say...be competitive and show improvement. That would probably mean keeping it a one score game. Don't see that happening.

Amen. Where the hell did the TE in the middle of the field go?

Well, at least there was the closed door, players only meeting...unfortunately the door opened and pretty much erbody in the room ran off and started talking shite to anyone with a microphone.

If they don't lay down like a bunch of pussies, get ran over, and quit in the 1st quarter Ill be happy.

Well, happy is probably not the right word but I won't be angry...probably...maybe

If we compete for the whole game I will see that as progress. I still won’t be happy with a loss by 19 pts but I can see us losing by that and still playing hard / competitive football. If we lose 19 to 0 then no I will not be happy.

I just don't see the offense doing anything...like...at all.

They haven't been able to move the ball against any SEC team except for a couple of games last year. That was against an injury riddled Tenn and and Arkansas team that liked to give away second half leads.

Our receivers either don't get open, or drop the ball when in close coverage.

Lock doesn't read the field and misses open receivers while throwing into double coverage.

I'm still not convinced the Oline offers good run blocking against better defenses.

This is just bad

They gave some excuse as to the pressures that Purdue had shown on film (vs Louisville) as a reason for keeping the TE in for protection. That doesn't make a lot of sense because Purdue instead took the deep outer 3rds away. Those long throws at the edge gave Purdue's secondary time to rally to the ball minimizing anything after the catch...just like SC did.

Perhaps Lock checked out of things to make those throws and Heupel took a bullet for him.

Which is more telling that this is a coaching issue, no adjustments were made, no change in strategy, nothing.

Auburn bases out of 4-3 over Quarters. IMO they have to use the TEs to force them out of that coverage to open up the field.

I would be happy if you eat more dicks than you usually do and choke a little on them.

Hah. No.

They couldn't score on two mediocre Ds. They won't score on Auburn.
