Why is it so accepted that we have no talent next year?

I don't get the statement that Anderson's cupboard is bare. There is a lot of talent on this team. Haith was a bad coach who could not get it out of them. If Anderson is as good of a coach as I think he is then he should get it out of them.
4 star players: Clark, Post, Williams III, Beidschied, Bello, Gant, Wright
3 star players: Jones, Rector, Rosburg
I watched these guys play and they were not being developed at all by Haith. Most of our offense was simply give the ball to Clarkson, stand still, and watch him drive. Anderson will develop these players. Barring a mass exodus of players transferring out I think he has the chance to do well with these guys.

I agree. I don't think the cupboard is bare at all-if they can keep everyone on board. If everyone buys in and catches on to the systems on offense and defense, next year could be a surprise.
We'll see.
We'll see.

I hope you're right. Based on past experience, we are returning about 29 points a game, including the transfers.

If we hold on to Gant and Wright, this team will be just fine talent wise. Without them, things will be pretty thin. It's important to hold onto those guys. I think Jones and Williams will make big improvements under Kim Anderson.

Bello is a 177 lb guard who can't shoot FTs or 3 pointers.
Beidschied averaged 5 minutes and 3 points a game or some such nonsense at Notre Dame.
JWIII seems like a nice kid. But if he knocks down a shot outside of 10 feet on a consistent basis, I'll start eating hats.
Rosburg isn't a 3* player.
Rector is still looking for his first field goal at Mizzou.
Gant and Wright aren't on campus.
It could be a very, very ugly year.
But a lot of folks seems to be excited. So, awesome.

No. It won't. With another class or two behind it, it will be fine talent wise. I like Jones, Clark and Williams. As far as recruits go, I like Wright and Gant. But that's only 5 players and they're all very young.

Biedscheild avg. 17 min and 7 points a game as a Frosh. He may not be a pure scorer, but he can fill it up and is as pure a shooter as they get. J 3 is a wild card. If he improves he has the ability to finish around the rim and with him and Jones you have some pretty athletic big men. If Post could develop at all that would be a big help. Wright and Gant should be able to come in and contribute. Clark while not a pure scorer should get better and better and showed more signs than most of a winning type of bball compared to others on last years team. Bello I don't know much about, but was rated a 4 star player out of high school. The cupboard is not bare at all.
