Brady Quinn

Golden Boy. Humble. Pocket passer. Athletic enough. Started as a freshman. Decent arm, not the strongest. Strong hair.

I'd say Drew's arm is a little better than decent.

He looks like Peter Brady and has no touch on his passes yet and throws darts like Gabbert.

He's shite tons better than Gabbert was. Not even a close comparison. One is a QB. The other just had a cannon on the playground.

Gabbert had serious talent.

He just had bad habits, so Jax tried to kill his career by starting him as a rookie.

Gabbert was great at a picnic. Make him take a snap, deal with a rush and make decisions....not so great

Gabbert like Lock right now didn't have great talent around him.
He had DA his first year, not really anyone else around him.
His second year was Egnew & Moe.

Lock doesn't have a go to player around him that can make plays. A few of the receivers may develop into that, but that doesn't exist yet.

Lock's receivers are better than people give them credit for. Watch the Georgia game and notice the straight routes they have them running and then they stop at a spot and turn around.

This years receivers are super athletes. They are open more often than not.
They drop too many passes, and haven't quite been on the same page as the QBs on the downfield passes.
But when Mizzou's offense has been really good receivers have been really good after the catch. That hasn't happened this year. They have potential to be develop into a really good group the next couple of years.

It was tough to even see some sort of potential tonight.

Ugly.

Henson has done nothing since he became OC. I really don't know how he returns next season.

We've scored 13, 24, 3, 6 points in conference games.

You give this offensive talent to 80% of the D1 coaches and they get so much more. There is a real danger of wasting the best QB recruit in years because of shite coaching. Let's just pray that the ghost of Don James appears to Pinkel and tells him to clean house. Lord knows he won't do it any other way.
