Willing to spend the money and had the opening. I doubt Haith gets fired this year. Next year if he misses the big dance again though it is a different story.

Plus, he's a narc/cheater. The worst kind of cheater.
His handling of the Deon Thomas recruiting by Illinois made him anathema in the B1G.
Oddly enough, Mike Slive was tied up in the whole deal in an odd way.
